DEACONS MINISTRY
Mission Statement:
To serve the body of Christ with humility, compassion, and dedication, supporting the spiritual and physical needs of the congregation. As servant leaders, we are committed to upholding the mission of Pleasant Grove Church of Christ by fostering unity, assisting in worship, ministering to the needs of the community, and providing counsel and support to the pastor and church leaders. Through faithful prayer, fellowship, and acts of service, we aim to embody Christ’s love and care within the church and beyond.
TRUSTEE MINISTRY
Mission Statement:
To steward the resources and facilities of Pleasant Grove Church of Christ with integrity and dedication, managing our assets in a manner that reflects our commitment to God’s work. We aim to support the church’s mission through responsible financial oversight, strategic planning, and the upkeep of our physical spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.
USHER MINISTRY
Mission Statement:
To serve as the welcoming face of Pleasant Grove Church of Christ, ensuring that every person who enters our doors experiences the love of Christ. We aim to create an atmosphere of warmth, order, and reverence by guiding and assisting congregants in fellowship, embodying the spirit of hospitality, and promoting a culture of worship and unity within the body of Christ.
MISSION MINISTRY
Mission Statement:
To actively extend the love and compassion of Christ beyond the walls of our church by engaging in service, outreach, and support for those in need. We seek to make a tangible impact in our community, sharing the gospel through actions and words, and demonstrating the heart of Jesus through charitable acts, faithful prayer, and dedicated service.
TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY
Mission Statement:
To provide safe, reliable transportation for members and guests of Pleasant Grove Church of Christ, enabling everyone the opportunity to participate in worship, fellowship, and service. Our mission is to support spiritual growth by ensuring access to church activities, fostering a welcoming environment, and connecting our community through reliable and compassionate transportation services.
MEN'S MINISTRY
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to serve the men of the church and the community so they understand the love of God and actively pursue sharing this love with all those with whom they encounter. In addition to fellowship, we endeavor to cultivate a desire to study God’s Word and to share our knowledge of His Word with those whom we encounter. We believe in the brotherhood of man and extend an invitation to all men who will join with us in spreading the Word of God.
WOMEN'S MINISTRY
Mission Statement:
To empower and support the women of Pleasant Grove Church of Christ through discipleship, fellowship, and service, helping each woman grow in her relationship with God and her purpose in life. We aim to foster a community of faith, compassion, and encouragement where women can deepen their spiritual walk and live out their calling.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION MINISTRY
Sunday School
- Mission Statement:
To educate and nurture believers of all ages through a comprehensive study of God’s Word, equipping them with the knowledge, understanding, and spiritual foundation to grow in their faith and live as disciples of Christ. Sunday School provides a space for structured learning, discussion, and spiritual formation for the entire church family.
Bible Study

To deepen the knowledge and understanding of God’s Word within our congregation, encouraging spiritual growth, transformation, and a stronger relationship with Jesus Christ. Bible Study serves as a dedicated time for in-depth learning, prayer, and discussion, empowering believers to live out their faith daily.

Mass Choir
Mission Statement:
To lead the congregation in worship, glorifying God through music and song that uplifts the soul and encourages the hearts of believers. Through anointed worship and passionate praise, we seek to create an atmosphere where the presence of God is felt, fostering spiritual growth and unity in the body of Christ.
SHIELD OF FAITH – Praise & Worship Ministry
Mission Statement:
The Praise Team creates an atmosphere for the manifested presence of God through prophetic song, sound and a united anointing so that the body of Christ can grow a deeper, higher and stronger relationship with God and his kingdom can be established in worship and in praise. It is our mandate to create a meeting atmosphere between God and His bride.
YOUNG FAITH – Youth Choir
Mission Statement:
We have a desire and passion to praise God with our voices and uplifting HIM in song. We are serious about serving OUR GOD through music, singing and by the playing of instruments. Our Youth Choir ministry seeks to enrich the service in praise, worship and devotion in a youthful upbeat fashion.
MEDIA MINISTRY
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to amplify the message of Christ by delivering high-quality audio, visual, and social media services that engage, inform, and inspire. Through excellence in technology and creativity, we strive to enhance worship experiences, expand outreach, and foster a welcoming and accessible community where God’s word is shared with clarity and impact.
PASTOR'S AIDE MINISTRY

Our mission is to faithfully support the pastor in carrying out God’s work by offering assistance in both spiritual and practical matters. We aim to uplift, encourage, and equip our pastor to lead effectively, fostering a spirit of unity and service that strengthens the church body and glorifies God.
HOSPITALITY MINISTRY
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to extend the love of Christ by fostering connection and care within the congregation and community. We are dedicated to maintaining regular contact with members, welcoming and inviting visitors to return, and ensuring our sick members feel supported and encouraged. Through our efforts, we strive to build unity, uplift spirits, and exemplify the grace and compassion of Jesus in all we do.
KITCHEN MINISTRY
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to serve God and His people by providing nourishment and hospitality through meals at church functions and events. With a spirit of excellence and love, we aim to create an atmosphere of fellowship and care, ensuring that all who gather feel welcomed, valued, and blessed.
MOTHER'S MINISTRY
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to nurture and guide the next generation of women in faith, love, and service, reflecting the heart of Christ in all we do. As spiritual mothers, we commit to supporting the ordinances of Communion, Baptism, and Feet Washing with reverence and dedication. Through mentorship, prayer, and practical assistance, we strive to foster unity, strengthen the church body, and glorify God in every area of service.
THE LORD'S SUPPER
Mission Statement:
To honor the sacrifice of Jesus Christ through the observance of the Lord’s Supper, fostering unity and spiritual growth within our community, and proclaiming the gospel to the world. We reach them with love, bring grace, teach the truth, and send them out on the mission for Christ.Micah 6:8 (KJV) He hath showed thee, o man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? Humility: The Lord’s Supper, the act of washing feet is a picture of Jesus’ ultimate mission: to serve humanity through his humble death on the cross.
